Coming soon to Train Simulator 2013 is the giant of American railroading, the Union Pacific Big Boy. With its huge driving wheels and articulated design, the Big Boy could tackle the steep gradients of Sherman Hill hauling mammoth freight trains over the Wasatch Mountains. Considered one of the most successful large steam locomotive designs ever developed, the Challenger was a regular sight on the heavy mountainous routes of the Wasatch region. First Capital Connect Class 377 |
The commuter-favourite Class 377 will soon be available for Train Simulator 2013 as a separate add-on. The Electrostar is the most common EMU on the London commuter network and can run on both third rail and overhead power supply with advanced features including a sophisticated train management system, CCTV and air conditioning as standard throughout the fleet. Available in First Capital Connect and plain blue liveries, features include working cruise control and dynamic in-cab display screens. Also included are three scenarios for the London to Brighton line. |

PRR Centipede |
One of the Horseshoe Curve's most powerful locomotives will soon be available. The Baldwin DR-12-8-500/2, or 'Centipede' for short, was one of the heaviest locomotives on the route, but this gave it the advantage of offering high tractive power. Developed by Reppo, the Centipede will be available for Train Simulator 2013 in Pennsylvania Railroad black livery and prototype blue livery, featuring fully-detailed engine start-up, realistic engine scripting, a PRR baggage car and a PRR dining car with highly-detailed passenger view. Also included are challenging scenarios for the Horseshoe Curve. |

The 61km/38m high speed route between Munich and Augsburg is now available as a separate add-on. With faithful recreations of all stations on the line, including the stunning Munich Main Station, fans of German high speed trains will definitely want to own this add-on. Also included with the route are the DB ICE3, Class 101 and Class 294 for the full German high-speed experience. |

The Class 101 was one of the largest classes of first generation DMUs on the British railway network and was once seen all over the country from its introduction in 1956 until its last withdrawals in 2003. Re-skinned and upgraded from an earlier Class 101 pack, this Class 101 will be available in Strathclyde Passenger Transport (SPT) black and orange livery, featuring manual gear change control and TSX effects. The model is also Quick Drive compatible and includes a number of exciting scenarios for the West Coast Main Line. |

The heavyweight of freight is coming! A new and re-worked version of the ever-popular Class 66 features a new exterior and improved cab interior, accurate brake control, centre-sprung brake lever, and accurate engine and horn sounds. This new version will soon be available in Freightliner and EWS liveries, with FEA Spline intermodal wagons and scenarios for the Edinburgh-Glasgow route also included. As an added bonus, all existing owners of the Edinburgh-Glasgow route will automatically get a free intermodal extension of the route! |
